Where can I find your products?
Our full range of products are available to buy from most major retailers throughout Wales. However, our Welshcakes can be found in most Sainsbury’s and Waitrose stores nationally and can be delivered worldwide through our eBay store.
If you are a UK mainland resident, we can deliver directly to your door through our online shop. You can also visit our small shop which is located next to our factory in Narberth. The shop is open 8am-4pm Monday to Friday and you will find our address here.
If you are still unable to find our products, please contact us and we will be happy to locate your nearest stockist for you.
Where do you deliver to?
Through our online shop, we are able to deliver to UK mainland postcodes.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery currently costs £3.99 but orders over £25 are FREE. We are aware that this is a little expensive, however if you order before 12 noon this charge does include a 2 working day delivery service. Please be reassured that we are working on reducing this rate.
How long does delivery take?
If you order before 12 noon, your order will be delivered within 2 working days. We use dedicated overnight couriers who aim to deliver your parcels between 8am-4pm. Please note that busy periods may affect these delivery hours. If your order hasn’t arrived within 3-4 working days, please contact us.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current situation, deliveries are taking a little longer and could take 3 working days to arrive.
Can I 'click & collect'?
Yes, if you live locally you can pick up your order from us. There are no delivery charges, simply select the ‘local pickup’ option at the checkout.
How do I stock your products?
We are always happy to welcome new stockists. We have our own delivery vehicles that operate deliveries across Wales and bordering counties. To discuss becoming a stockist, please contact our General Manager, Gregg Summerly, on 01834 861997 or email Gregg@Welshcakes.com.
Can you provide Welshcakes for weddings, events, parties etc.?
Yes, however please note that we ONLY provide the cakes and no gift packaging is included. All cakes come in bags of twenties and you are able to choose from the following options:
- Standard Welshcakes- £3.10
- Mini round Welshcakes- £3.20
- Mini heart Welshcakes- £3.60
If you would like to place an order, please call us. We will need around 2 weeks’ notice as these are handmade and made to order. Our standard Welshcakes are also available to buy through our online shop. If you are local, you can pick these up directly from us. If not, there is a delivery charge of £6.67. Please see previous questions regarding delivery.
Are your products suitable for people with allergies?
None of our product contain peanuts or nuts and we do not handle these allergens in our bakeries. Please always check the ingredients list on our packaging, where all major allergens are listed in bold text. Additional allergens handled on site are also listed in the allergen advice section in bold text. If you have any queries, please contact us.
Where can I find nutritional information?
All nutritional information can be found on our packaging and on our website under each product listing.
Do you produce any gluten-free products?
Unfortunately, we do not produce any gluten-free products at the moment.
Are your products suitable for vegans?
No, our products are not suitable for vegans.
Are your products suitable for vegetarians?
All of our cakes are suitable for vegetarians and you will find the logo on our packaging. However, please note that we do recommend that you always check the ingredients on our packaging as raw ingredients are subject to change.
Can I freeze your products?
All of our products are suitable for freezing; we recommend that you do not freeze them for longer than a year. Frozen products should be defrosted thoroughly before you eat them and consumed within 7 days once defrosted.
Can I recycle your packaging?
All of our packaging apart from the small red tags used on our Welshcakes is recyclable in the UK. However, we do recommend that you check with your local authority to ensure that everything is suitable for kerbside recycling. Please note that we are conscious of the impact plastic has on the environment and that we are trying to source alternatives which fulfill all necessary criteria; meeting food safety standards and ensuring shelf-life.
Are we able to visit your factory?
Unfortunately, for health and safety and food safety reasons, we do not allow visits to our factory.
Do your cakes contain palm oil?
None of our products contain palm oil as a whole ingredient, however some of our cakes do contain palm oil within another ingredient as it has essential properties that other oils do not have. All Palm Oil used is certified by the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and compliant with the RSPO Chain of Custody Certification Standard.
